What we do
New England CareFlow is a research and prototype development company focused on practical solutions for healthcare and care delivery — from clinical documentation and care coordination to patient education, communication and workflow improvement. Our pilot work began with Visual Nursing Notes, and our approach carries across specialties, care settings and patient populations.
Visual Nursing Notes
Our first prototype: narrative notes in, a structured visual display out — and every fact on it links back to the source data it came from.
The research
In a pilot study, critical-care nurses reviewed the same patient admission as written notes and as a clinical trajectory visual display.

Built around nurses, by nurses
Nursing care is charted by body system — neuro, respiratory, cardiovascular, GI. The display follows those same systems, so the chart reads the way nursing is already organised.
